One thing I have learned is that in order to be creative, it helps to be in the right state of mind – rested, relaxed, highly aware and full of energy. Preliminary work is to develop a routine that is conducive to increasing my creativity.

The proposed routine includes:

  1. Daily exercise. Simple yoga stretches in the morning, a jog in the evening, salsa dancing, long walks or roller-blading. Sitting in front of the computer doesn’t count.
  2. Dream recall. I have a keen interest in dreams, but they’re not much use if you can’t remember them.
  3. Meditation. Minimum 15 minutes daily.
